My art portfolio reflects a dynamic exploration of figurative, narrative-driven painting, rooted in classical techniques while engaging with contemporary ideas. Influenced by the dramatic realism of Velázquez and Caravaggio, as well as the layered storytelling of Vincent Desiderio, my work captures moments of transformation, identity, and psychological depth. Through a blend of light, shadow, and symbolism, I aim to evoke a sense of the uncanny, drawing viewers into scenes that feel both familiar and dreamlike.

Many of my paintings explore themes inspired by personal myth-making, Jungian archetypes, and philosophical concepts—particularly the ideas of Alain Badiou on ethics and events that rupture ordinary life. I strive to blur the line between the material and the metaphysical, treating each canvas as a space for visual inquiry. With every piece, I aim not just to represent the world but to invite viewers into an aesthetic experience where meaning unfolds slowly, challenging them to see beyond the surface.
